The movie "The Social Network" is all set to premiere Friday (September 24th) at the New York Film Festival. Despite the hype this movie is no (FB) friend of Mark Zuckerberg. Based upon information from a scorned Facebook investor, the movie does not show the Facebook founder in the best light. Hmm...I imagine this isn't the first time that's happened to a famous person. Still, it can't be a fabulous feel good moment for Mark Zuckerberg.
Second Charm for Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg:
Facebook is down. I repeat Facebook is down. Yes, folks it's true, as of 4 pm this afternoon (on the east coast) there has been a 404—or is that 503—message for anyone trying to access the site. Well, its been that way for me and a few hundred others anyway. Who knows if this is affecting all 500 million Facebook users? But it could be serious. The Facebook site has been running slow for a few days now and then suddenly no access; at all. Whatever will we do? I suppose we can be impressed with the third charm in the Facebook founder's life right now.

Timing is everything and that's a fact. Its been reported (by my favorite homepage—Yahoo) that Friday also marks the day that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will donate $100 million to troubled schools in Newark, New Jersey via the Oprah Winfrey show. Wow. $100 million. Dollars. That's a lovely gift and very generous of the young Mark Zuckerberg.
